PLEASE NOTE – Megan Deschênes, ND (inactive) will be on maternity from September 1st, 2025 to August 30th, 2026. Megan’s existing clients may book their visits with one of our other naturopathic practitioners.
Megan earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Université de Montréal, where she was trained in client-centered active listening, particularly for those facing mental health challenges. During her time there, she contributed to a school-based meditation program and gained valuable research experience as an assistant in McGill University’s sleep lab.
Her passion for holistic healing led her to a workshop in India, where she explored the powerful benefits of breathwork, yoga, and plant medicine. This experience solidified her commitment to naturopathic medicine, with a focus on helping patients develop strong foundational health habits.
Megan continued her education at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, completing four years of academic and clinical training to earn her Naturopathic Doctor degree. During her clinical internship, she was selected to be part of the mental health focus shift, supporting clients with ADHD, chronic fatigue, anxiety, depression, binge eating, substance abuse, insomnia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and more.
In addition to mental health, Megan has a special interest in supporting clients with hormonal concerns, including menopause, PCOS, endometriosis, thyroid health, and menstrual irregularities. She also addresses digestive health issues such as IBS/IBD, Crohn’s disease, bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) and overall digestive discomfort.
Megan’s approach focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of illness through a variety of therapies, including lifestyle changes, botanical medicine, Chinese medicine, homeopathy, and evidence-based supplements. She is dedicated to guiding her patients on their journey to optimal health and well-being.
